Silverbacks futbol spring season begins play this week for both the CPSL Sunday (11’s) action and Revolution (7″s). SBFC is fielding some of their strongest teams to date in both divisions and is poised to bring home titles in both leagues.
Silverbacks Premier, currently sits in first place after the fall leg of CPSL and looks to earn their first title in only their second season in the league. Silverbacks select, hopes to rebound after a disappointing first season in the league, going 0-1-9. They have made significant changes to this season’s roster and have very high hopes of salvaging last season.
SBFC Premier enters their spring leg of the Revolution league on unfamiliar ground. The winter session marked the first time an SBFC team didn’t play for a league or Cup title. The squad has undergone a few changes for the upcoming season in hopes of re-gaining their elite status in the premier league.
SBFC Diablo, Renegades and Sparta all enter the Revolution spring session currently in the second division, which will prove to be one of the most competitive seasons division II has seen to date. All teams have very competitive squads and will be playing this season in hopes of a promotion to the premier division.
